Waffles

The waffle is a world-wide confectionary of flour sugar and milk that are baked on special toasters.

The best known is the Belgian dye and stroopwaffle. In the United States, it is mainly consumed as a breakfast with syrup. Waffles have its own personality, but it has history. It was named as it is today in the 14th century in Paris, its dough was used in the holy communion while being ironed by religious symbols, later on the English made them between two metallic plates. The Englishmen arrived from Oleander to the United States with this  idea of the delicious waffles. A Greek dishwasher discovered the dish with cerise and used similarly for the construction of paper.

The waffle today decorates all the restaurants in the world and its ingredients are ideal to be able to accommodate tastes that are not for sweet lovers, you can try it with salty ingredients. Separate colors decorate the global picture with one of the most inventive recipes in the history of food but also versatile enough that you can modify them to make something special. In 1700, the dough was introduced to all the family meetings and from then on, no one could resist thousands of flavors as well stunning and fluffy presenters.

I remember one trip to southern Dutch, when I was 6 years old and we ate a waffle with chocolate ice cream, strawberries and a drink. It was one of the best dished I ever had in my short life.

I think it is so awesome that you don’t need to travel too far to taste an unbelievably delicious dairy recipe, there so many amazing places around the world where you can enjoy a waffle, maybe a beach, a mountain, the city or in a farm and they all mix different ingredients and get a very tasty piece of Belgian food.
