When you sip on your drink with a straw, it creates a certain vacuum in it that drops the boiling point of alcohol and creates vapors in it. These vapors get inhaled into the lungs, thereby entering your bloodstream faster than ending up in your stomach if you were drinking the regular way. Moreover, the narrow jets of beer when sipped on with a straw end up in a larger oral cavity, touching the mouth palette directly and its high blood circulation level absorb the alcohol vapors. Hence, becoming the shortest way for alcohol to enter your blood stream directly and get you drunk faster.

Whether or not you drink beer with a straw, the amount of alcohol consumed remains the same in that drink. The only difference being that while you sip on it with a straw, you get drunk much faster as opposed to having it the regular way. Also, drinking with a straw saves your teeth and allows the ladies to keep their pout on fleek!
